Cassidy Boesch

Biography

Cassidy grew up in Los Angeles attending Crossroads school and earned a Bachelors degree in Bio-Medicine Community Health from Brown University. In college, Cassidy began her work with children at an infant and toddler development center for underprivileged children in Providence, RI. Cassidy spent three summers in Africa (South Africa, Kenya, and Tanzania) implementing health and wellness interventions to orphanages, hospitals, and teaching English to young students. Cassidy began working for Dr. Mehmet Oz’s non-profit, HealthCorps, teaching high school students at Ulysses S. Grant High School in the Los Angeles Valley. She started a Sister Circle Club working on empowering teenage mothers, and her love for working with young children and mothers grew. In 2011, Cassidy went back to school to get a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family and Child therapy at University of Southern California. She has been gaining experience in counseling children, families and parents through working at a clinical school based sites, The Maple Counseling Center’s Adolescent and Child Therapy Program, and through private practice. Cassidy has vast experience conducting infant Mommy and Me and toddler Preschool Prep Groups through the Early Childhood Development Associates in West Hollywood and shadowing Tandy Parks, MPH in Santa Monica. Cassidy taught at Crestwood Hills Preschool in the 4 year old classroom. This is Cassidy’s 7th year running Playgroup. Cassidy lives in the Pacific Palisades with her husband and three children, a 3.5 year old son and 18 month old twin daughters.
