The Playgroup Enrollment Agreement

Welcome! We’re honored to become a part of your child’s early learning experience—and we’re excited to get to know you, your family members, and the other important people in your child’s life. Please read this enrollment agreement carefully. By signing this agreement, you agree to enroll your child in PlayGroup and we agree to accept your child’s enrollment, under the following terms and conditions. This enrollment agreement is a binding agreement between you and Cassidy Boesch, the Program’s operator.

1. Program Schedule.

PlayGroup operates on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday OR Tuesday and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We are closed on weekends and most holidays. Our Program Administrator will notify you of our holiday and closure schedule. The PlayGroup will be open on regularly scheduled days, except in the case of severe weather or other emergencies.

Program fees are not reduced as a result of these closures.

2. Absences.

  • Unplanned Absences. Please notify our Program Administrator as soon as possible if your child will be absent on a specific day. Please note that absent extraordinary circumstances, program fees will not be reduced due to unplanned absences or sick days during the month.
  • Planned Absences. If you know your child will be absent over a full week or more – for example, due to a vacation – you may reserve the absence by providing us with 1 week’s advance notice. Program fees will be reduced on a pro-rata basis to account for your child’s planned absences so long as we have received adequate notice. We cannot secure your place in PlayGroup if your child is absent for more than one month.

3. Program Fees.

  • Registration Fee. A nonrefundable registration fee of $100 is due at the time of enrollment. This will go towards your first month’s payment. You will be charged when we receive your signed agreement.
  • Monthly Program Fee. The fee for participation in PlayGroup is $85 per session ($34/hour). Our program fees are subject to adjustment. You will receive 60 days’ written notice of any adjustment in Program fees. We will not increase our fee during your child’s term, unless a fee increase occurs and you wish to pick up a second term at PlayGroup (continue on for more than a school year). You are charged this fee monthly.
  • Late Payment Fee. All fees are due in advance on or prior to the 5th day of each calendar month for that month’s enrollment. Late payments will be subject to a service charge of $15 per month.

4. Compliance with Program Policies and Procedures.

From time to time, our Program Administrator may implement policies and procedures to enable us to create a more effective and safe learning environment for your child and other participants in the PlayGroup. By enrolling your child in The PlayGroup, you agree to complying with our policies and procedures.

5. Recurring Payment Authorization.

As a condition to your child’s enrollment in the Program, we require that you authorize us to automatically debit your bank account or credit card for Program fees and other payments due under this Enrollment Agreement. An authorization is attached as Exhibit A for this purpose.

6. Liability Waiver.

The health and safety of your child is and will always be our first priority. However, there are certain risks associated with any child care environment. As a condition to your child’s enrollment in the PlayGroup, we require that you execute the Assumption of Risk and Waiver and Release of Liability attached as Exhibit B to this Agreement.

7. Termination or Withdrawal from PlayGroup.

  • By PlayGroup: We may terminate your child’s enrollment in the PlayGroup immediately and without advance notice if we determine, in our sole and absolute discretion, that your child’s continued participation in PlayGroup poses a potential or actual risk to your child, to other PlayGroup participant(s), or to our staff or visitors; or that you or your child has breached or violated this Agreement or any of policies, rules or procedures. In addition, we may terminate your child’s enrollment upon 30 days’ written notice for any reason or no reason.
  • By Participant. You may elect to terminate your child’s enrollment in the PlayGroup for any reason upon at least one month’s written notice to our Program Administrator.
  • Program Fees Upon Termination. Upon any termination of your child’s enrollment, you will be required to pay program fees through the effective date of termination.
