Elisa was born and raised in Beverly Hills, attending Beverly Hills High School, before earning her Bachelors degrees in Drama and Psychology/Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. While earning her Masters in Social Work, Elisa worked at Big Brother Big Sisters LA, where she developed and implemented school based programs in Culver City; she co-facilitated site based sessions, provided on-going support to mentors and students, and developed/implemented evidence based curriculum which went on to be utilized at 5+ schools in Los Angeles. After graduating from the University of Southern California in 2016 with her MSW, Elisa went on to train at the Maple Counseling Center as an Associate Clinical Social Worker. She joined The Playgroup in 2017 and fell in love with “the Playgroup way” of child-led, play based learning. Elisa offers a dynamic approach to working with children and their families, integrating creativity, mindfulness, and psychoeducation. Elisa is available for private practice therapy and consultation; she specializes in working with children/families, adolescents, and young adults.
